arenaflex is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst, Content Material Valuation to join our team in Burbank, CA. As a hybrid remote work role, this position will play a vital function in assisting the Content Material Valuation & Analytics team in preparing records-driven analysis in support of organizing arm's length pricing for our vast TV content library in home and worldwide markets across Disney-controlled linear networks and DTC services Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, Star+, and Hotstar. **Responsibilities:**
As a Senior Analyst, Content Material Valuation, you will be responsible for:
* Establishing arm's length-based content material pricing and preparing quarterly close and economic planning deliverables for scripted and unscripted content certified with Hulu and Disney+ globally.
* Consolidating quarterly regional content material valuation submissions and identifying key variance drivers and distilling effects into actionable insights for senior management.
* Assisting in preparing long-range and pricing planning deliverables, as needed.
* Functioning as the first point of contact to key stakeholders at DTC finance, studio finance, participations, and controllership.
* Partnering with finance stakeholders to identify and improve process efficiencies and best practices.
* Curating and synthesizing large amounts of data to draw conclusions and make recommendations resulting in actionable insights.
* Mechanically tuning and maintaining content performance (including Nielsen scores, critical review scores, and industry awards) for broadcast and cable primetime applications.
* Participating in a variety of ad-hoc projects to introduce you to new principles and improve your knowledge of key standards across the spectrum of content material distribution and licensing.
**Qualifications:**
* 3+ years of recent experience in financial analysis, finance, and/or 2+ years from a Big Four CPA firm.
* Self-starter, innovative, flexible, and proactive who is willing to pitch in anywhere needed.
* Enjoy working under minimal supervision; potential to scope, identify, and execute price-introduced procedures and process upgrades.
* Robust challenge control abilities with the capacity to manage and establish targets, manipulate multiple priorities, and pivot quickly based on the immediate needs of the business.
* Capability to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and associate across all levels of management.
* Enjoy working with large data sets and analytical tools with a proven capability to research quantitative and qualitative data.
* Interest to detail, accuracy, agency, strong problem-solving abilities, excellent work ethic, and capacity to work under stress in a quick-paced and ambiguous environment are essential.
* Choice to work with numbers, perform analysis, and maintain accurate supporting documentation of work done.
* Comfortable rationalizing and justifying selections made and tactics applied, but flexible with switching path if situations dictate.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), strong financial modeling skills required.
* Required understanding and application of pivot tables and advanced Excel formulation such as INDEX, MATCH, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, VSTACK, and nested IF statements.
* Ardor for the entertainment industry and television programming; content licensing experience is a plus.
**Training:**
* BA/BS in Business, Mathematics, Economics, or other quantitative discipline.
