As a member of this team, you will serve as the first point of contact for external stakeholders, providing information, resources, and support on the Spotted Lanternfly quarantine. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment will be essential in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our mission. **Key Responsibilities** - Maintain the overall operation and professional image of the customer-focused call center, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all stakeholders. - Serve as the first-line point of contact for external stakeholders interested in reporting a Spotted Lanternfly sighting and/or seeking additional information and resources. - Respond and refer customer questions and/or needs, providing appropriate responses and services for the situation, and referring to other departments/unit(s) when necessary. - Correspond with a diverse customer base by phone, video conference, email, or regular mail, ensuring clear and concise communication. - Investigate unusual situations or concerns and assist in problem resolution, working closely with the college SLF call center manager. - Operate various equipment and computer systems, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. - Assist with required reporting with the College SLF team, Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, and/or United States Department of Agriculture. - Ensure the quality of all call center services, meeting the highest standards of customer satisfaction and experience. **Essential Qualifications** - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a strong preference for bilingual or multilingual candidates. - Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and clientele. - Ability to work as an active member of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. - Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet the expectations of concerned citizens. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. - Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions. **Preferred Qualifications** -
