Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service, and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join our team. **Job Description** As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your primary responsibilities will include: **Customer Experience** * Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. * Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. * Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. **Operations** * Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. * Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items. * Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested. * Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. * Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. * Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader. * Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss. * Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). * Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. * Complete resets and revisions as directed. * Assist with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves). * Assist in stock rotation, using the first in, first out method and restock outs. * Have working knowledge of store systems and store equipment. * Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. * Suggestively sell promotional photo products. * Assume web pick-up responsibilities (monitors orders in Picture Care Plus, fills orders, and delivers orders to customers as they arrive at the store). * Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. * Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers. * Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned. **Training & Personal Development** * Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate. **Essential Qualifications** * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). * Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. **Preferred Qualifications** * Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment. * Prefer to have prior work experience with arenaflex. **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service. * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register. * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. * Basic computer skills and knowledge of store systems. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** * arenaflex offers a comprehensive training program to help you develop your skills and advance your career. * Opportunities for advancement to leadership roles and specialized positions. * Competitive compensation and benefits package. * Opportunities for professional growth and development through training and education programs. **Work Environment and Company Culture** * arenaflex is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive work environment. * Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and supporting each other. * arenaflex offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. **Compensation, Perks, and Benefits** * Competitive hourly rate of $16.5. * Opportunities for advancement and career growth. * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. * Paid training and education programs. * Discounts on arenaflex products and services. **Conclusion** If you are a customer-focused individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our team at arenaflex.
