As a Customer Advocate I, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional member experiences and helping us achieve our mission. **Job Summary** We are seeking an Experienced Customer Advocate I to join our team in a call center environment. As a Customer Advocate I, you will be responsible for working on the phone all day to assist members and physicians by responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. This role requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make sound decisions. **Key Responsibilities** * Respond to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner * Conduct research to resolve member inquiries and provide accurate information * Spend approximately 85% of the scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs * Use data entry and typing skills to accurately document member interactions and update records * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex member issues and provide exceptional customer service * Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge to provide accurate information to members * Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent * 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment * Data entry and/or typing experience * Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills * Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions * Ability to spend approximately 90% of the scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs, and sit for long periods of time with scheduled breaks **Preferred Qualifications** * 9 months of customer service experience * Experience working with various lines of business, such as CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management * Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy * Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change * Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and make sound decisions * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively * Proficiency in data entry and typing * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our team members grow and develop their careers.
