**Job Summary**
We're seeking a Part-Time Shale Network Data Entry Specialist to work on a part-time basis, with a minimum of 10 hours per week, on campus. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word, and the ability to accurately complete tasks with a strong attention to detail. Familiarity with GIS is a plus, but not required. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a project that could extend into the summer or longer, with potential for data analysis and other opportunities for growth and development.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Data entry related to water quality issues related to shale gas development and coal mining
* Accurately complete tasks with a strong attention to detail
* Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets using Excel and other software
* Collaborate with researchers and other team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency
* Participate in project meetings and contribute to project discussions
* Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant research and data analysis techniques
* Other duties as assigned
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word
* Ability to accurately complete tasks with a strong attention to detail
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with GIS is a plus, but not required
