**Job Summary**
As a Part-Time Chat Operator, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about our products and services, and capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review. You will also be required to develop and maintain a knowledge base of our evolving products and services, ensuring that you're always up-to-date on the latest developments.
**Responsibilities**
- Handle a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, responding promptly and professionally to customer queries
- Provide accurate and detailed information about our products and services, ensuring that customers have a clear understanding of our offerings
- Narrow down on appointment information to schedule appointments, ensuring seamless communication between customers and our clients
- Capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review, helping our clients to generate revenue and grow their business
- Summarize interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights and feedback to our clients
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of our evolving products and services, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and innovations
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred but not necessary
- Basic internet and window-based computer skills are required, with a strong ability to multitask and adapt to change
- Positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above being preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
**Training and Requirements**
- On-the-job training via Zoom, with a comprehensive training program that covers all aspects of the role
- Must have your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse
- Quiet, dedicated work space free from distractions, with a reliable internet connection
- Able to attend 4 weeks of full-time remote training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 11:00 am-7:30pm EDT
