National Sales Manager Germany Cardiometabolic (m/f/d), remote
The position of National Sales Manager Germany works out of our Cardiometabolic Business unit of Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Germany GmbH.
Provision of Management and Leadership to:
the German sales organization in the planning and execution of sales and growth opportunities demonstrating commercial excellence
ensure all business operations in a manner that is compliant with Abbott guidelines and Abbott Ethical policies
drive sales excellence and build a high-performance team culture
effectively manage commercial efforts in support of our business goals for the Cardiometabolic business unit
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of applicable Quality processes as per ISO, MDR, IVDR and other regulatory requirements.
Deliver Revenue and Margin goals by developing and executing Sales Excellence within German Sales Organization.
Support, coach and develop Sales team
Retaining and growing Cardiometabolic business by specific goals in terms of sales, margins, market share, frequency and coverage of segmented target customers and sales funnel management. Track success vs. key performance indicators - lead & execute corrective interventions as necessary.
Foster cross-functional collaboration with relevant roles and functions; Finance, Marketing, Technical Support and Customer-/Sales Service to ensure alignment and collaboration to meet our business goals, customer needs & satisfaction.
Define sales strategy in collaboration with General Manager and contribute in budget planning
Analyse market dynamics, market trends and competitive landscape; identify risks and opportunities for business growth
Develop KOL management and Strategic Partnerships/alliances
Ensure the Sales Organization is compliant with all relevant legal, regulatory, tax & ethical boundaries and carries out duties in compliance with established business policies and procedures.
Responsibility to understand and maintain awareness of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job.
Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior aligned with Abbott vision, culture and values.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Solid experience from commercial roles, preferably within medical device, diagnostics or health care
Minimum 3 years of previous front line sales management experience and a strong track record
B.A or B.A Degree or other relevant education
Proven Sales background, an established network and a strong ability to influence at a senior stakeholder level
Track record as an effective people manager and building high performing team culture
Solid knowledge of Germany Healthcare systems and market place
Deep understanding of market trends and competitive environment
Strong business analytical-/structured skills and preferably project management experience
Self-starter, with a customer focused and results driven attitude.
Able to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams, cooperating well with all levels.
