Description:
• Install, terminate, and commission a wide range of physical security products and systems.
• Install physical security devices and systems according to engineered drawings.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while working in customer-facing environments.
• Identify and resolve issues that could negatively affect job productivity.
• Complete all required job tickets and related paperwork thoroughly and accurately.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times.
• Communicate project activity timely to the Project Manager or Field Supervisor.
• Maintain the condition and cleanliness of company-provided vehicles.
• Maintain a safe driving record and report incidents or near misses immediately.
• Attend required product and safety training.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of field installation experience in a security environment.
• Mastery of install technician responsibilities.
• Experience with AMAG and access control systems.
• Solid understanding of copper and fiber data communication, including fiber and transport equipment.
• Experience with multiple access control platforms.
• Experience with analytics and/or other video products.
• Experience installing door hardware such as strikes.
• Ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings.
• Experience marking up or redlining drawings after installation.
• Experience in NERC-CIP environments is a plus.
• Experience in substation operations and protocols is a plus.
• Proficiency with a computer, including MS Word and MS Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, sometimes on short notice.
