Experienced Phone and Chat Specialist – Remote Customer Service Representative

As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's shaping the future of customer service. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Phone and Chat Specialist to join our remote team, providing exceptional customer service to nurses and healthcare facilities. As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for: * Verifying nurses' credentials after they've selected a healthcare facility * Following up with nurses via written messages to confirm credential validity * Handling follow-up phone calls with nurses to check on the status of shift pick-ups * Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner * Managing multiple chat channels simultaneously * Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and/or alternatives * Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls * Performing data entry and customer service skills * Navigating online efficiently to work requests/records * Identifying customers' needs, researching to see if requests have credentials needed * Skillfully transitioning between tasks without loss of efficiency or composure * Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times * Remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions * Flexibility to cross-train as requested **Qualifications** To succeed as a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll need: * 1 year of customer service or customer support experience * 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required * Technical savvy * Previous remote work from home experience a plus * Quick learner and able to work independently * Type 35 words per minute accurately * Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening * A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required **Responsibilities** As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for: * Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner * Managing multiple chat channels simultaneously * Following communication "scripts" when handling different topics * Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and/or alternatives * Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls * Performing data entry and customer service skills * Navigating online efficiently to work requests/records * Identifying customers' needs, researching to see if requests have credentials needed * Skillfully transitioning between tasks without loss of efficiency or composure * Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times * Remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions * Flexibility to cross-train as requested **Pay & Benefits** As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll enjoy: * Starting pay: $14/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds) and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance * Work hours: Shifts between 8:00am-8:00pm (EST) Work Days: Mon-Fri and rotating weekends * Paid Training: 3 weeks in length from 9:00am-6:00pm Mon-Fri (EST) * Status: Full Time 40 hours **Equipment Provided Option** careerzynith will provide equipment for full-time permanent employees, including: * A laptop or desktop computer * A USB headset * A dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection) * Up-to-date antivirus software * Firewall enabled **Hardware/Software Requirements** To ensure seamless performance, you'll need: * Processor: Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater * Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits * Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, dual monitors required * Up-to-date antivirus software * Firewall enabled **Work Environment & Company Culture** As a remote Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll enjoy: * Flexible work arrangements, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home * A dynamic and inclusive team environment, fostering growth and development * Opportunities for professional growth and advancement * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * A comprehensive benefits package, including paid training and equipment provided **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for making a difference, we want to hear from you!
