**Job Summary**
As a Technical Specialist on our Datacom and Network Services team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our video and audio systems, network infrastructure, and software applications. You will work closely with our team of experts to identify and resolve technical issues, implement new technologies, and ensure that our systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide technical support and maintenance for video and audio systems, network infrastructure, and software applications
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
* Implement new technologies and systems to improve the performance and efficiency of our operations
* Collaborate with our team of experts to identify and resolve technical issues
* Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
* Provide training and support to our team members on new technologies and systems
* Participate in the development and implementation of new projects and initiatives
* Collaborate with our vendors and partners to ensure that our systems are running smoothly and efficiently
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, or telecommunications
* 3+ years of experience in datacom and network services, with a focus on video and audio systems, network security, and software applications
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP Work environment, and Service NOW
* Strong understanding of different video and audio merchant applications (Sonify, QSC, Crestron, IOT, Synamedia, Genetec, SevOne, Forward Organizations, Splunk, Zabbix, Infoblox, etc.)
* Strong understanding of network security principles and industry best practices
* Knowledge of investigation and reporting tools like Splunk, Power BI
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to travel to client sites as needed
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 3+ years of experience in the AV or technology industry, with a focus on video distribution, encoding, audio mixes, and IOT devices
* 3+ years of experience in network exchanging and directing
* Strong knowledge of network security protocols and best practices
* Experience with video and audio systems, including encoding, decoding, and transmission
* Experience with network security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
* Experience with software applications, including video and audio editing software, and network management software
