**About the Role:**
As a Data Scientist in our Product Insights team, you will be responsible for driving product development through strong analytical techniques, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape product vision, and fostering experimentation and estimation systems to accelerate project delivery. You will work closely with our Product and Design teams to identify, explore, and empower product developments using robust estimation procedures and adaptable tooling.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Drive product development through strong analytical techniques, including experimentation, modeling, and data analysis
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product vision and advance estimation techniques through new metrics, systematic methodologies, and deep-dive analyses
* Foster experimentation and estimation systems to accelerate project delivery and improve decision-making
* Work with ownership and accountability to ensure that the team delivers reliable and high-quality results that impact business outcomes
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science
* At least 4 years of experience applying statistical and numerical techniques to drive business outcomes at scale
* Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets
* Proficiency in SQL and statistical programming languages, such as Python and R
* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal oversight and guidance
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science
* Experience working in a product development or research and development environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience working with agile methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
