**Job Responsibilities:**
As an Experienced Data Protection & Privacy Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
* Designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable technology solutions that drive innovation and excellence
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of our data assets
* Developing and implementing data protection and privacy policies and procedures
* Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security threats
* Providing training and support to employees on data protection and privacy best practices
* Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and privacy
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement data protection and privacy strategies
* Providing expert advice and guidance on data protection and privacy matters
* Conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in a STEM-associated field, with a focus on data protection and privacy
* Strong understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, both locally and globally
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment to strict deadlines, with the potential to handle multiple tasks concurrently
* Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
* Reliable, punctual attendance is a critical aspect of this role
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* CISA certification
* Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
* Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles
* Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
* Ability to interpret noncompliance to determine its effect on levels of risk and/or average effectiveness of the company's cybersecurity program
* Hands-on experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and product capabilities
