Description:
• Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new Prime business opportunities and meet territory and account targets.
• Engage existing Platform Core customers to understand their challenges and business needs and position Azul solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract close.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, including a 3X pipeline, and forecast accurately.
• Partner with Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver clear demonstrations, proposals, and customer support.
• Lead contract negotiations and close business on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, progress, and outcome records in Salesforce.
Requirements:
• 15+ years of direct software sales experience.
• Proven success selling both on-premise and cloud-based software solutions into large enterprises and SaaS-centric companies.
• Experience selling into key verticals such as online retail, e-commerce, ad-tech, gaming, and financial services.
• Significant experience selling in the infrastructure space, including OS, JVM, and container technologies.
• Experience working closely with a Technical Sales Engineer.
• Extensive experience selling technical products that require technical POCs.
• Experience selling enterprise products based on Java-based open source is highly desired.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in deal qualification methodologies, with MEDDPICC preferred.
• Ability to sell a new solution without an existing budget placeholder.
• Location in the Eastern or Central Time Zone is ideal.
