Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace components, focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Analyze current manufacturing workflows to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Design and implement new manufacturing techniques and technologies to enhance production capabilities. Create and maintain detailed process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions. Collaborate with design, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes. Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions. Manage and oversee pilot production runs and process validation activities. Train production personnel on new processes and best practices. Stay current with advancements in manufacturing technology and industry best practices in aviation. Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with aerospace industry regulations and quality standards (e.g., AS9100). Requirements Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, with a significant focus on the aerospace industry. Proven experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and manufacturing simulation tools. Strong understanding of material properties and manufacturing techniques relevant to aerospace components. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Experience with hybrid work environments and the ability to work effectively both remotely and on-site. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for collaborating with teams in **Milwaukee, Wisconsin**. Familiarity with quality management systems such as AS9100 is highly preferred.
