Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate commercial requirements into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data models that support high‑volume statistical processing and standardized metric definitions.
- Leverage big‑data technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, Python) to deliver batch and real‑time analytical solutions with a focus on data quality and accuracy.
- Build and optimize data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store VoC data from the careerzynith Survey & Dashboard Platform.
- Collaborate with product owners, agile development teams, and data engineers to ensure seamless integration of new features and enhancements.
- Automate repetitive data‑entry tasks and develop tooling to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and performance tuning to guarantee reliable analytics across diverse use cases.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on best practices in data modeling, ETL processes, and big‑data frameworks.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously evolve careerzynith’s data strategy.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 3 + years of hands‑on experience with Hive/Hadoop ecosystems, PySpark, Python, and shell scripting.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data architectures for large‑scale analytics.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and the ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, delivering incremental value in short sprints.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is a plus, given careerzynith’s multilingual operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

- Experience in building data‑driven products for consumer‑facing applications.
