The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is seeking a School-Based MAA Analyst to join their team. This role is responsible for performing various assignments critical to the operation of the School-Based Medi-Cal Administrative Activities program, including program evaluation, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Performing a wide variety of assignments critical to the operation of the School-Based Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (SMAA) program
- Assist with tasks such as: program evaluation; policy and fiscal analysis; budgeting; documentation reviews; contract development; claims review; invoice processing; stakeholder site visits and training; and all functions necessary for the SMAA Program
- Serve as a liaison and departmental representative to other departmental divisions and/or units and external stakeholders
- Maintain a cohesive team environment and communication within the unit, branch, control agencies, and other program areas
