The Senior Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations across Coravin's entities, manage a team, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations across global entities, supporting timely and accurate month-end and year-end close
- Directly supervise the NL-based Senior Accountant and Junior Accountant, providing guidance, review, and development support
- Serve as primary liaison with external auditors, coordinating audit requests, managing the PBC list, and ensuring timely delivery of supporting documentation
- Oversee general ledger integrity, journal entry review, and account reconciliations across entities
- Support multi-entity consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and elimination entries
- Assist in the development and documentation of accounting policies and internal controls
- Partner with the Senior Director on technical accounting matters and implementation of new standards
- Act as point of escalation for AP and AR queries, resolving complex issues and ensuring alignment with company policies
- Oversee transfer pricing compliance and support global tax strategy in partnership with external advisors and the Senior Director
- Review and drive opportunities for automation and process clarity across AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and email management
Skills
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with US GAAP
- Experience working across multiple legal entities and currencies in a global environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O a strong plus
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team across geographies
- Experience with transfer pricing concepts and/or working with external tax advisors
- Strong communicator with the ability to work effectively across functions and time zones
- Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving environment with a continuous improvement mindset
- CPA, RA, RC, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred
