Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rhodes Wolfe is seeking a New Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across the Northeast or Midwest (Chicago) region. The role involves identifying and opening new accounts for a leading manufacturer of custom retail fixtures and experiential marketing solutions, focusing on consultative sales and relationship-building.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within your territory
- Build and deliver strategic business development plans to achieve revenue/growth objectives
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers at prospective brands and retailers
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through proposal, negotiation, and contract close
- Collaborate with internal design, engineering, and PM teams on customized client solutions
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales strategies
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and forecast opportunities using CRM tools
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging industry opportunities
- Consistently achieve or exceed established sales goals
Skills
- 5+ years experience in business development, strategic sales, or consultative sales required
- 5+ years experience in retail activations, branded environments, custom fixtures required
- Experience cold calling and building book of business from scratch required
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and client relationships required
- Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with CRM tool for pipeline management required
