They are seeking a detail-oriented Records Support Specialist I to coordinate the retrieval of essential records for attorneys engaged in civil litigation, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Make 80–100 outbound calls daily to facilitate record collection
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all correspondence with clients and record holders
- Coordinate with Account Managers to ensure seamless fulfillment of record requests
- Provide daily written status updates to clients
- Manage an active caseload of 350–375 open orders
- Uphold HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive medical and legal records
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Windows
- A team player with strong attention to detail and a high degree of organization
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can adapt to shifting priorities
- A proactive communicator who can think quickly and respond effectively to client needs
- Familiarity with subpoenas, written depositions, and affidavits is a plus
- Legal terminology experience preferred but not required
