Children’s Minnesota is one of the largest pediatric health systems in the United States, dedicated to providing care exclusively to children. The Manager of Accounting will oversee financial operations, maintain the accuracy of financial statements, and ensure compliance during audits.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the accounting and tax area
- Responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the General ledger, reconciling all sub ledger, reviewing account reconciliations, preparation of monthly financial statements, tax reporting coordination of the annual external audit and other periodic federal and state audits, coordination of tax audits and staff supervision
Skills
- CPA certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- 2 years of leadership experience
- Leadership, specifically developing staff and delegating to appropriate level
- Prior experience with PeopleSoft Financials is a plus
