Helios & Partners is looking for a Performance Creative Strategist who will develop creative concepts that drive customer acquisition and revenue across various paid media channels. This role involves collaborating with media buyers and creative teams to transform performance insights into compelling ad creatives that convert.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative strategies designed specifically to improve ROAS, lower CPA, and increase conversion
- Build creative concepts based on audience insights, competitor analysis, and platform trends
- Translate marketing objectives into scalable creative frameworks
- Partner closely with media buyers to identify creative opportunities from campaign performance
- Build creative testing roadmaps that continuously improve campaign efficiency
- Identify customer pain points, purchase motivations, emotional triggers, objections preventing purchase, purchase occasions, customer personas, and consumer language and messaging
- Translate insights into creative angles that resonate with different audience segments
- Develop winning hooks, scroll-stopping first 3 seconds, messaging hierarchy, creative hypotheses, offer positioning, product storytelling, problem/solution narratives, UGC concepts, and test matrices
- Create detailed creative briefs for designers, editors, photographers, creators, and UGC talent that include target audience, customer insight, creative objective, hook direction, messaging hierarchy, script outline, visual references, CTA, and success KPI
- Continuously improve creative performance through structured testing
- Analyze metrics including thumb-stop rate, hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPC, CPA, CVR, ROAS, frequency, and creative fatigue
- Identify why creatives succeed or fail and recommend next iterations based on data
- Develop structured testing plans across hooks, headlines, offers, formats, messaging, creators, UGC, product demonstrations, video lengths, static vs. motion, and lifestyle vs. educational content
- Maintain an organized testing library and document key learnings to scale winning concepts across brands
- Partner with paid media, creative design, video production, influencer marketing, brand marketing, e-commerce, CRM, and social media to ensure creative aligns with campaign objectives while maintaining premium brand standards
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in performance creative strategy, paid social creative, growth marketing, or e-commerce marketing
- Experience working with beauty, skincare, luxury, wellness, fashion, or premium consumer brands
- Proven success creating performance-driven creative for Meta and TikTok campaigns
- Strong understanding of the direct-to-consumer (DTC) customer journey
- Experience partnering with paid media teams to optimize creative performance
- Ability to interpret campaign data and translate insights into creative recommendations
- Excellent creative briefing and communication skills
