**Key Responsibilities**
As a Remote Customer Service Specialist, your daily roles and responsibilities will include:
* Meeting daily goals of 85 calls per day, averaging 11 calls per hour, to ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction
* Assisting clients, patients, and requestors with the status of requests for medical records via phone call
* Ensuring notes are accurate and detailed, with all actions requiring a note in Med-Release
* Providing excellent customer service promptly with accurate and concise information
* Building strong value-based relationships with customers, with a passion for customer interaction
* Ensuring customer satisfaction is a primary goal
* Resending or canceling invoices
* Reprocessing orders for missing information
* Obtaining missing information for non-compliant requests from patients and requestors
* Data entry and other duties as assigned
* Faxing and emailing records securely to requestors
* Working with other departments to ensure requests are sent promptly
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* Excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and have strong time management skills
* Proficient computer skills with software applications such as Microsoft Office
* Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always
* High school diploma or GED required
**Preferred Skills/Not Required**
While not required, previous medical records experience, knowledge of HIPAA, and 1+ year of customer service/call center experience are preferred.

**Schedule**
