Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ampa is a pioneering neurotechnology startup developing brain stimulation technology to help eradicate depression. They are seeking a clinically experienced Clinical Deployment Specialist to lead on-site deployments, training, and go-live support for their advanced neuromodulation platform.
Responsibilities
- Travel to client sites to support clinical deployment and go-live of Ampa systems
- Partner with internal teams to ensure systems are properly installed, tested, and ready for clinical use
- Serve as the on-site clinical expert during initial implementation, ensuring readiness across staff and workflows
- Deliver hands-on training to clinical and technical staff on system operation, daily workflows, and patient treatment processes
- Train physicians and providers on clinical use, treatment setup, and best practices (protocol specifics provided by Ampa)
- Adapt training style to diverse audiences, delivering clear, confident, and professional clinical education
Skills
- Clinical background strongly preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical deployment, clinical training, or customer-facing medical device role
- Proven experience supporting live clinical environments during system rollout or go-live
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain clinical and technical concepts to both medical and non-medical audiences
- Highly professional, polished presence with physicians, clinic leadership, and healthcare staff
- Self-directed and comfortable working independently in a travel-heavy role
- Willingness to travel frequently (50–70%+), including occasional short-notice travel
- Experience with neuromodulation, interventional psychiatry, or other device-enabled clinical therapies
- Familiarity with FDA-regulated medical devices
- Experience working in a startup or fast-growth healthcare environment
