Operations Manage

The Grady Group is partnering with a leading beauty brand that is a leader in innovative, consumer-driven beauty and personal care solutions. About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee their third-party logistics (3PL) partner and manage all aspects of inbound and outbound freight. This role is critical in ensuring efficient supply chain operations, optimizing costs, and delivering best-in-class service levels to our customers and retail partners. Responsibilities 3PL Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for all 3PL operations • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping • Monitor and enforce SLAs, KPIs, and compliance standards • Lead regular business reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions Order Management • Own the full order lifecycle: order intake, validation, allocation, fulfillment and invoicing • Ensure EDI and manual orders are processed accurately • Resolve order discrepancies, chargebacks, shortages and routing issues • Ensure compliance with retailer/vendor requirements (routing guides, labeling, ASN accuracy) • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy • Lead automation initiatives Outbound Logistics (Freight Out) • Oversee order processing, picking, packing, and shipment execution • Ensure on-time, accurate delivery to customers and retail partners • Manage parcel, LTL, and FTL carrier relationships • Monitor shipping performance, chargebacks, and service levels Inventory & Systems Management • Partner with 3PL to maintain accurate inventory levels and reporting • Reconcile discrepancies and lead cycle count/physical inventory processes • Leverage WMS, ERP, and TMS systems to improve visibility and efficiency Analytics & Reporting • Track and report on KPIs including OTIF, fill rate, inventory accuracy, and freight cost • Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities • Build dashboards and provide regular updates to leadership Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner with Sales and Finance Teams • Support new product launches, retailer requirements, and seasonal demand spikes • Ensure alignment between demand planning and fulfillment execution Qualifications • 5–8+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management • Strong experience managing 3PL providers and warehouse operations • Deep understanding of freight (inbound/outbound), carrier management, and distribution • Experience with WMS/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Manhattan, etc.) • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Preferred Skills • Experience in beauty, CPG, retail, or relevant industry • Experience working with major retailers (e.g., Ulta, Walmart, Target, CVS, Amazon)
