As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images, collaborating with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely patient evaluations. Responsibilities
Perform radiological examinations and interpret diagnostic imaging results
Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and treatment plans
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in radiology
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Provide timely reports and consultations to medical staff
Stay updated on advancements in radiology and medical technology
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions
Assist in training and mentoring junior medical staff when applicable
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Valid medical license to practice in the state of Tennessee
Completion of a residency in Radiology
Board certification in Radiology preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with digital imaging systems and radiology software
Flexible Schedule: 6:30a-4p, 7:30a-5p, or 7a-2p
Call Shifts: 6p-6:30a or 2p-7a
Will consider remote coverage
Support Staff: 2 PAs
EMR: Epic
PACS: Merge and McKesson
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
