Job Summary
The Global BPO Deliver Performance Excellence Leader serves as the business authority for operational excellence across the J&J MedTech Deliver network.
This role is responsible for defining and governing global operational standards, ensuring consistent execution across all distribution centers (both J&J-owned and 3PL-operated). Acting as the Global Business Process Owner (BPO), the leader drives continuous improvement, benchmarking, and cost-to-deliver intelligence to enhance service performance, cost efficiency, and overall network excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Standards & Network Consistency
Define and deploy global operational standards across all distribution center sites
Ensure consistency across J&J-owned and 3PL-operated facilities
Establish and govern DC archetypes, including performance expectations and operating models
Monitor adherence and drive standardization across regions
Operational Excellence Focus Areas
Own global standards and governance across key areas, including:Site master planning
Continuous improvement (Lean, JJOS, Visual Management)
Health, Safety, Quality, and EHS
Performance management, SLAs, and site scorecards
Packaging optimization, waste reduction, and operational efficiency
Benchmarking & Intelligence
Lead internal and external benchmarking to generate industry and competitive insights
Develop and deploy Cost-to-Deliver/Serve models and strategies
Provide data-driven insights to optimize performance and inform strategic decisions
Continuous Improvement & Capability Building
Define and deploy methodologies for continuous improvement across the network
Establish and lead global communities of practice
Promote a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and best-practice sharing
Global BPO Leadership
Act as Global Business Process Owner for Deliver Performance Excellence
Own process governance, standardization, and harmonization globally
Approve global standards and manage deviations or localizations
Ensure alignment to customer-centric outcomes and measurable business value
Leadership & Talent Development
Build and lead a high-performing global team
Drive leadership capability, succession planning, and talent development
Champion diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing
Foster a high-performance culture aligned to J&J Credo values

Qualifications
Experience
12–15+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Operations, Operational Excellence, or Distribution/Warehouse Management
Proven track record deploying operational standards across global logistics networks
Strong experience in:Benchmarking and performance analytics
Cost-to-Serve/Deliver modeling
Continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
Experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or regulated industries preferred
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field) preferred
Skills & Competencies
Deep expertise in distribution center operations and operational excellence frameworks
Strong analytical capabilities (benchmarking, process mapping, data mining)
Experience developing and enforcing global operational standards
Knowledge of EHS, quality, and regulatory requirements in logistics environments
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in a global matrix
Change leadership mindset with ability to drive continuous improvement culture
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
Certifications (Preferred):
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalent)
APICS, CSCP, or equivalent supply chain certification
