**Job Summary:**
We're seeking an experienced Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our arenaflex team. **Responsibilities:**
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:
* **Gathers, Organizes, and Prepares Source Documents:** Collect and review source documents, ensuring they're complete and accurate before entering data into our system database.
* **Reviews Data for Discrepancies:** Carefully review data entered against the original source documents for accuracy, correcting any errors or duplications that may have occurred.
* **Enters Data into System Database:** Accurately enter both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into our system database, following established procedures and protocols.
* **Maintains Data Program Security:** Ensure the confidentiality and security of all personal and financial information, adhering to HIPAA regulations and arenaflex's data program security practices.
* **Performs Daily Database Backups:** Routinely secure information by completing daily database backups, ensuring our data is safe and secure.
* **Assists with Clerical Duties:** Perform various clerical tasks, such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading, as required to support the team's operations.
* **Maintains Confidentiality:** Ensure the confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times, adhering to arenaflex's confidentiality policies and procedures.
* **Performs Other Duties as Assigned:** Be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team's goals and objectives.
**Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
* **Education and/or Experience:** A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of 6 months of related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
* **Experience in a Medical Office:** While experience in a medical office is preferred, it's not required. We're open to candidates with experience in other industries who possess the necessary skills and qualifications.
* **Tech-Savviness and Attention to Detail:** You must be tech-savvy and detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
* **Computer and Software Proficiency:** You'll need to possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone systems, as well as multiple software programs, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.
* **Typing Speed and Accuracy:** You must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M. and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in your work.
* **Communication and Teamwork Skills:** You'll need to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively, and asking questions where clarification is needed.
