**About the Role**
As an IT Operations Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for managing local and/or remote resources and assisting the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience. You will own the strategies to create that experience, develop and leverage the knowledge base of the team, and identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement. You will set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization and guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Manage local and/or remote resources to ensure seamless IT support for Amazon employees worldwide
* Assist the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience and own the strategies to create that experience
* Develop and leverage the knowledge base of the team to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
* Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
* Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
* Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
**Essential Qualifications:**
* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
* 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
* Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
* Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience with IT service management frameworks and tools
* Strong understanding of cloud computing and virtualization technologies
