**Responsibilities**
As a Healthcare Customer Service Expert, you'll be responsible for handling a high volume of inbound calls from patients, providers, and referral sources. Your duties will include:
* Managing 60-65 incoming calls daily through an inbound queue
* Utilizing multiple applications and a dual monitor setup to assist customers with initiating healthcare services
* Providing information and answering questions related to service registration
* Handling inquiry calls, new service requests, and other types of calls with ease and professionalism
* Working an 8-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch break and appropriate breaks throughout the day
* Meeting or exceeding individual performance targets in areas such as call quality, attendance, adherence, and other contact center objectives
* Showing empathy and patience when handling difficult callers or complex requests
* Adhering to all company policies, including HIPAA/PHI regulations

As a Phone Intake Representative, you'll work from home in a remote and high-volume healthcare call center. You'll be responsible for managing a high volume of inbound calls, utilizing multiple applications and a dual monitor setup to assist customers with initiating healthcare services. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that our patients receive the care they need, when they need it.
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A High School Diploma or GED
* Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment
* 1 year of experience working in healthcare with medical terminology
* Proficient with navigating dual monitors and multiple applications
* Keyboarding skills with a speed of 30 WPM
* Basic skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
* A passing score on the SHL Customer Service Phone Simulation Assessment
**Internet Requirements**
To ensure that you can work effectively from home, you'll need:
* A minimum internet speed of 2 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download
* A high-speed Fiber or Cable connection
