**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Senior GL Bookkeeper to join our remote team. As a key member of our accounting group, you will work closely with other bookkeeping staff to drive business growth and improvement by streamlining financial processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will report to our Senior Bookkeeping Director and be responsible for planning, executing, and reviewing financial processes and procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
* Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external entities for assigned functional areas
* Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
* Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
* Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
* Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
* 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
* Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
* CPA certification an asset

* Master's degree in Accounting or related field
* 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication, oral, and written skills, including strong proficiency in English
* Strong time management and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
