**Position:** Experienced Customer Service Representative/Social Worker
**Location:** Remote (Pasadena, CA 91107)
**Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 8am-5:00pm
**Pay Rate:** $25-27/hour
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative/Social Worker, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional customer service to high-needs In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) recipients, often in emergency situations or requiring assistance with navigating county and state public assistance programs, such as IHSS and Medi-Cal.
* Handling inbound calls and correspondence in a professional and courteous manner.
* Resolving all aspects of customer inquiries, providing accurate and timely responses.
* Entering accurate information into our database.
* Collaborating with various staff members to ensure seamless operations.
* Maintaining records and ensuring proper documentation.
* Performing light administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and envelope packing.
* Handling email and phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
**Requirements:**
* Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, such as Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling.
* 1-3 years' experience in social work or homecare administration.
* Previous Call Center or Customer Service experience.
* Microsoft Office proficiency.
* 40 wpm typing speed.
* Background screen after acceptance of job offer.
