You'll also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store appearance, working with our food program, and providing excellent customer care. Your key responsibilities will include: * Greeting customers and providing a warm welcome * Running the register and handling cash transactions * Making purchase suggestions and offering personalized recommendations * Working with our food program to provide customers with a seamless shopping experience * Maintaining a clean and organized store appearance, both inside and out * Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance * Interacting with customers daily, building relationships, and resolving any issues that may arise * Working as part of a team to accomplish daily goals and objectives * Coming up with creative solutions to problems and offering suggestions for improvement **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Retail and customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet * Physical ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds, and perform other physical demands of the job **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial in this role: * Sales associate or cashiering experience * Motivation to advance in your career and take on new challenges * Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized store appearance * Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues * Physical ability to perform the demands of the job, including standing, walking, lifting, and bending **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
