Growing together. **Working in a Call Center Environment** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll work in a call center environment under supervision to receive and process inbound calls from patients, providers, and other medical staff. You'll execute outbound calls or electronic tasks to assist with providing medical-related services. Your responsibilities will include: - **Answering Calls and Resolving Issues**: Answer a minimum of 11 calls per hour resolving moderate to complex issues. - **Scheduling and Verifying Appointments**: Schedule and verify appointments in clinical information systems. - **Patient Information Management**: Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information. - **Task Management**: Send and receive tasks to Provider offices to assist patients with access to medical care. - **Referral Processing**: Receive and process; expedite, stat, and at-risk referrals. - **Patient Communication**: Contact patients to advise of appointment and referral status. - **Data Entry**: Perform extreme high-volume data entry. - **Complaint Resolution**: Process and resolve expedited patient complaints. - **Medication Refill Processing**: Review and process medication refills. - **Proactive Response**: Respond proactively to inquiries from patients, Providers, and internal medical personnel. **Rewards and Recognition** You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role. We'll also provide development opportunities for other roles you may be interested in. **Required Qualifications** - **Education**: High School Diploma / GED. - **Call Center Experience**: 6+ months of Call Center experience. - **Customer Service Experience**: 6+ months of Customer Service experience. - **Microsoft Office Proficiency**: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word. - **Age Requirement**: Must be 18 years of age or older. - **Flexibility**: Flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7am-8pm Monday - Friday, Saturday - Sunday 7am-5pm. **Preferred Qualifications** - **Medical Terminology**: Knowledge of medical terminology. - **Advanced Insurance Knowledge**: Advanced knowledge of insurance products. - **Medical Office Training**: Training in a medical office-related field. - **CPT and ICD-10 Coding**: CPT and ICD-10 coding knowledge. **Soft Skills** - **Customer Service**: Ability to demonstrate customer service and proper telephone etiquette. - **Communication**: Solid oral and written communication skills. - **Listening and Critical Thinking**: Solid listening, critical thinking, decision-making, telephone, customer service, and problem-solving skills. - **Prioritization**: Ability to prioritize call types. **Compensation and Benefits** The hourly range for this position is $16.00 - $28.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. arenaflex complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
