As a key member of our clinic staff, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of clerical tasks, including registering patients, communicating financial obligations, and collecting fees. You'll also provide administrative support, answer phone calls, and maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of our clinics. **Responsibilities And Scope**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Physician Practice Support, your key responsibilities will include:
* Obtaining and accurately inputting critical demographic and financial information into Electronic Medical Recordkeeping (EMR) system and other applications as needed. You'll also obtain and/or verify documentation as required, including Consent for Treatment, Assignment of Benefits and Financial Responsibility, and Notice of Privacy Practices.
* Answering and relaying incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls, delivering routine / scripted instructions in preparation for patient's visit to the office.
* Providing general clerical support functions to ensure efficient utilization of time, including scheduling meetings, patients, and appointments; maintaining calendars; coordinating with other clinical services.
* Collecting and counting cash receipts and daily deposits, ensuring balanced cash drawer daily.
* Maintaining order and cleanliness throughout the clinic, performing housekeeping duties of assigned area by routine and periodic cleaning.
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
**Required**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Driver's license and access to transportation
**Preferred**
* Medical clerical experience in a hospital, physician practice, clinic, nursing home, or insurance agency
