As a Customer Service Representative on our remote team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Maryland consumers receive the highest level of service and support in their pursuit of healthcare.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide exceptional customer service to Maryland residents, addressing their queries, concerns, and needs related to Medicaid, Qualified Health Plans, and other services offered by the Maryland Health Connection (arenaflex).
* Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and other State systems to perform tasks and duties efficiently.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality service to all Maryland consumers.
* Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in customer service, healthcare, and relevant technologies.
* Meet or exceed performance metrics, including quality and productivity standards.
**Essential Qualifications:**
* **Residency Requirement:** Must be a resident of the state of Maryland.
* **Call Center Experience:** Must have prior experience in a call center environment, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
* **Technical Requirements:** Must have a personal computer with an i5 processor or higher and a high-speed internet connection.
* **Availability:** Must be available for a QC Interview with Client during the week of September 16-20th and attend a Real Job Preview on September 27th.
* **State Policy Exam:** Must pass a State Policy Exam with a score of 80% or higher.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* **Healthcare Knowledge:** Familiarity with healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations.
* **Customer Service Certification:** Possession of a customer service certification, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM).
* **Language Skills:** Proficiency in multiple languages, including Spanish, is a plus.

* **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
