**What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)**
As a customer service and sales representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* **Answering Incoming Phone Calls**: You'll be the first point of contact for our members, answering their questions and resolving their inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* **Cross-Selling Credit Union Products and Services**: You'll have the opportunity to enhance our members' relationships with arenaflex by cross-selling our products and services.
* **Assisting and Training Members**: You'll assist and train our members in using automated services provided by arenaflex, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
* **Complying with Regulations**: You'll be responsible for complying with regulations and completing account transaction requests efficiently and accurately.
* **Training Other Service Center Employees**: You'll have the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with other service center employees, helping to build a strong and supportive team.
**What is Required (Qualifications)**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* **Minimum Educational Requirement**: A High School Diploma or equivalent
* **Related Experience**: One to twelve months of related experience, including call center or branch experience
* **MSR Certification**: You must be MSR Certified or complete Certification within 3 months of hire
* **Basic Computer Operating Skills**: You'll need basic computer operating skills and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
* **Effective Communication Skills**: You'll need the ability to communicate patiently and courteously with our members
**How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)**
If you have the following qualifications, you'll be well on your way to standing out as a top candidate:
* **Previous Experience with Symitar and 10-Key**: You'll have a competitive edge if you have previous experience with Symitar and 10-Key.
* **High-Speed Typing**: You'll need to be able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.
* **Familiarity with Credit Union Policies and Procedures**: You'll have a strong understanding of credit union policies and procedures, which will enable you to provide exceptional service to our members.
