**Job Summary**
arenaflex is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Claims Customer Service Representative to join our growing claims department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing timely and accurate information to customers regarding their vehicle service contracts, claims processes, and benefits. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities will enable you to effectively manage customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide a seamless experience for our customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Claims Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Analyzing information in our vehicle service contract and claims system to advise customers of the appropriate benefit amounts and provide clear explanations of their coverage and terms.
* Requesting and distributing internal information to aid the Claims Adjudication Department in making informed decisions.
* Responding to phone and email inquiries from customers, agents, dealers, and internal staff, providing accurate and timely information on our claims processes and benefits.
* Managing workflow, processing, and completing all requests and documents according to established procedures, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
* Collaborating with management and coworkers in a friendly team environment, utilizing camera usage for training, team meetings, and meetings with management.
* Performing other job duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our claims department.
**Key to Success**
To excel in this role, you'll need:
* A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
* Strong organizational and customer service skills, with the ability to problem-solve and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry skills.
* The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with contract holders, agents, dealers, internal staff, upper management, and customers.
* Proficiency working on a PC, with a working knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
* The ability to type at least 35 wpm and document information while discussing claims over the phone.
* Automotive service department experience is preferred, but not required. Warranty administrators, BDC representatives, automotive cashiers/receptionists, and service writers are also encouraged to apply.
