Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented "California licensed" Workers’ Compensation Attorney (Applicant) to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to advocate for injured workers by managing claims, conducting legal research, and preparing compelling legal documents. The ideal candidate will be passionate about workers’ rights and possess strong negotiation and litigation skills to effectively represent our clients. Bilingual English / Spanish speaker preferred.
Responsibilities
• Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation claims from inception through resolution, ensuring timely progression of each case
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence with clients and opposing parties
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and other stakeholders to secure favorable outcomes for clients
• Maintain detailed case records and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements
• Communicate clearly with clients to keep them informed about case developments and legal options
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and prepare for hearings or trials when necessary
Requirements
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction with experience in workers’ compensation law
• Proven ability in litigation, negotiation, and legal drafting within a law office setting
• Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research platforms
• Excellent writing skills with attention to detail in legal administrative documentation
• Experience with legal research tools and case management software is preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple cases efficiently

Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
