Job Description
Sales Manager – Western Region, Airborne Public Safety & ISR
At Teledyne FLIR Defense—part of Teledyne Technologies, serving critical defence and public safety missions—you’ll help bring advanced sensing and unmanned solutions to those who rely on them most. From airborne law enforcement to firefighting and ISR, our technologies support life‑saving decisions in complex environments. If you enjoy owning outcomes, building trusted customer relationships, and translating technical capabilities into real‑world impact, this role offers a chance to lead across a high‑value territory.
You’ll drive growth across the Western U.S., partnering with customers and internal teams to deliver solutions that matter—on time and with measurable results.
What you’ll do
Own regional revenue growth and achieve annual sales targets
Build and execute territory and key account plans (law enforcement, OEMs, aerospace)
Lead full sales lifecycle: prospecting to contract execution
Serve as primary customer contact and strategic advisor
Translate technical solutions into clear customer value
Identify and capture new programmes and long‑term opportunities
Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline discipline in CRM
Negotiate pricing, terms, and multi‑year agreements
Represent Teledyne at customer sites and industry events
Monitor market trends and competitive activity
What you need
Required: Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Required: Proven ability to own and close complex deals
Required: 10+ years in technical or solution sales with revenue accountability
Required: Experience in aerospace, defence, industrial, or regulated markets
Required: Ability to engage with engineers, procurement, and executives
Required: Financial acumen in pricing, margins, and forecasting
Required: CRM proficiency and territory autonomy
Advantage: Experience with airborne ISR or public safety solutions

Salary Range:
$120,300.00-$160,400.000
