Slumber Studios is looking for a highly creative, hands-on visual designer to help shape and produce the visual identity of our sleep audio brands.
This role will focus on creating scalable art direction for our podcast channels, including cover art systems, episode imagery, YouTube visuals, social assets, and light motion animation.
You’ll also help define the visual direction for our audiobook catalog and related imagery, with an emphasis on illustration, brand consistency, and calm, premium design.
The ideal candidate is both artistic and practical: someone who can develop beautiful visual systems, then execute them reliably at scale across many titles, formats, and platforms.
Responsibilities include:
• Create scalable visual systems for podcast artwork, episode imagery, YouTube thumbnails, and social assets
• Develop illustration-led art direction for audiobooks and sleep-focused content
• Produce light motion graphics and simple animated assets for video and social platforms
• Maintain consistency across multiple brands while adapting style to different shows, stories, and formats
• Design templates and repeatable workflows that make high-volume creative production more efficient
• Collaborate with the content and production teams to translate stories, themes, and brand concepts into compelling visuals
• Ideal candidate:
• Strong portfolio across illustration, graphic design, and motion graphics
• Excellent taste in composition, color, typography, and visual storytelling
• Comfortable creating both polished one-off artwork and repeatable design systems
• Experience designing for digital media, podcasts, YouTube, social, or entertainment brands
• Able to work independently and produce high-quality assets on a consistent schedule
• Proficient in tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Figma, Procreate, or similar
This is a hands-on creative production role for someone who wants to help build the visual world of a growing sleep audio company.
