Video Editor Needed to Segment Conference Footage into Individual Sessions (Quick Turnaround)
Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented video editor to help process conference footage from a recent national event.
The project involves organizing and segmenting approximately two full days of recorded content into individual session videos based on a provided agenda.
This is a straightforward editing project. We are not looking for heavy editing or creative production.
Scope of Work:
Review full conference recordings (provided via mailed hard drive)
Use the official event agenda to identify session start and end times
Cut and export each session as a standalone video file
Ensure clean starts and endings for each session (no dead space, mic checks, etc.)
Work with two camera angles per session (may occasionally switch between angles if needed to capture the active speaker)
What We’re NOT Looking For:
No motion graphics
No title cards
No lower thirds
No audio enhancements beyond basic clarity if needed
Deliverables:
Individual video files for each session, clearly labeled
Files formatted and ready for upload to YouTube
Timeline:
Footage will be shipped to you via multiple hard drives
Turnaround time: 5 days from receipt of footage
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced in editing long-form event or conference footage
Comfortable working with multi-camera recordings
Highly organized and able to follow a detailed agenda
Able to meet a fast turnaround deadline
