UPWORK JOB POST – VIDEO EDITOR / CONTENT PRODUCER (LIFESTYLE SHOW – ARIZONA)
We are building a fast-growing lifestyle media brand called Living Arizona, showcasing Arizona lifestyle, communities, neighborhoods, food, events, and homes.
This is a high-volume weekly content role for someone who can think like a content creator + storyteller, not just a video editor.
We are looking for a long-term editor who can help build a consistent weekly content system across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube (short-form + long-form).
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Each week we will provide raw footage including:
On-camera talking clips (host-led)
Lifestyle footage (restaurants, gyms, events, neighborhoods)
Home walkthroughs
Conversations/interviews
B-roll footage
You will turn this into:
SHORT-FORM CONTENT (WEEKLY)
5–8 short-form videos per week
20–60 seconds each
Optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Each clip must include:
Strong hook in the first 1–2 seconds
Fast-paced, engaging editing
Captions/subtitles
Social-native storytelling (not “corporate editing”)
LONG-FORM CONTENT (WEEKLY SHOW)
1 x 15–20 minute episode per week
Structured like a lifestyle show (not a vlog or podcast)
Each episode should feel cinematic and include:
Strong intro/hook
Lifestyle segments (food, neighborhoods, events)
Home/property segment (light, non-salesy)
Optional conversations/interviews
Clean pacing and storytelling flow
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience editing short-form viral content (TikTok/Reels/Shorts)
Understands hooks, pacing, and audience retention
Can turn raw footage into engaging stories
Thinks creatively (not just executes instructions)
Can consistently meet weekly deadlines
Can suggest better cuts, hooks, and content angles
⭐ BONUS SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE)
Real estate, travel, or lifestyle content experience
Motion graphics / text animation
Thumbnail design
Understanding of viral content structure
Ability to repurpose one shoot into multiple clips
NOT A GOOD FIT IF YOU:
Only do basic trimming/cutting
Have no social media video experience
Cannot meet weekly deadlines
Need step-by-step instructions for every edit
Do not understand storytelling or retention editing
WORKFLOW
We send raw footage weekly
You edit and deliver:
5–8 short-form clips
1 long-form episode (15–20 min)
We provide feedback and refine over time
