About the role
We’re looking for a Video Editor who lives and breathes short-form social content. Not long-form. Not cinematic brand videos. Not “edit once and move on.”
Your sole focus will be editing high-performing social media videos using CapCut only.
You’ll take raw footage and turn it into fast, engaging, scroll-stopping content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
You’ll work closely with our content and marketing teams to iterate quickly, test hooks, and improve performance—video after video.
What you'll do
Edit short-form social media videos using CapCut only
Add captions, on-screen text, emojis, zooms, cuts, and visual pacing optimized for retention
Turn talking-head videos, screen recordings, and raw clips into polished social content
Follow proven content structures while improving them over time
Maintain consistent brand style across all videos
Hit fast turnaround times and manage multiple edits per day
Iterate based on performance feedback and creative direction
Collaborate closely with content, marketing, and leadership teams

What we're looking for
Have 1–3+ years of experience editing short-form social media content
Are highly proficient in CapCut (this is non-negotiable)
Understand pacing, hooks, retention, and why people stop scrolling
Can make content feel dynamic, punchy, and modern
Move fast without sacrificing quality, ability to manage volume and deadlines consistently
Follow instructions closely and execute with precision
Thrive in a remote, high-speed, entrepreneurial environment
Are detail-oriented and take pride in clean, polished work
Understanding of TikTok / Reels / Shorts style editing
Experience adding captions, text animations, sound effects, and quick cuts
Strong communication and responsiveness in a remote team

You're editing high-quality videos with minumin changes required after 30 days.
You're hitting your weekly video quota

How our hiring process works:
We are a fully remote company, and our hiring process reflects that. The first stages are completely asynchronous: no surprise calls, no scheduling pressure.
