Veterinary Imaging Annotator (Remote)
Role Overview The Veterinary Imaging Annotator is a critical role within the Petcare Science & Diagnostics team, focused on supporting the development of cutting-edge AI-driven solutions. You will be responsible for accurately labeling veterinary radiographic images to help build machine learning models that detect image quality issues. Your work will directly improve diagnostic accuracy and reduce the need for X-ray retakes in clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities
• Review and annotate veterinary X-ray images for quality issues and key anatomical features.
• Accurately label large volumes of data to support robust machine learning model development.
• Maintain high levels of annotation accuracy and consistency in accordance with established guidelines.
• Meet defined productivity targets (throughput) and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with AI teams and veterinary imaging experts to refine labeling protocols.
• Identify and resolve edge cases in complex or unclear images.
• Follow and contribute to the continuous improvement of annotation processes.
Qualifications
Required:
• Education:
DVM/VetMB (or equivalent) OR a current veterinary student with advanced radiology knowledge.
• Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of veterinary radiography and image interpretation.
• Attention to Detail:
Exceptional focus and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with high consistency over extended periods.
• Digital Literacy:
Comfortable working with digital tools and specialized annotation platforms.
Preferred:
• 1+ years of clinical or veterinary experience.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, data annotation, or image processing workflows.
