Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Texas Commercial Title Examiner. The Texas Commercial Title Examiner will be responsible for abstracting large residential and commercial acreage tracts within the title plant, examining chains of title, plotting legals and evaluating property records. This role involves ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance within title documentation while collaborating with professionals to resolve title-related concerns.
Qualifications
• Expertise in analyzing property records to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues
• Knowledge of Deeds and the ability to evaluate legal descriptions and ownership transfers
• Experience conducting Title Searches in Title Data, Integrity and DataTrace title plants
• Understanding of Chain of Title and proficiency in identifying potential defects or liens
• Practical knowledge of Escrow processes and related documentation
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Proficiency with deed plotting software and related tools is a plus
• Excellent organizational and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment
• Prior experience in the title insurance or real estate industry is required
• Experience in ResWare is preferred
