Job Description:
• The Document Control Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining critical documentation in a manufacturing environment, ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance with industry standards.
• This role is crucial in supporting quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements.
• handle documentation in an international manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Document Management:
o Create, review, and maintain controlled documents such as work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), engineering drawings, and quality manuals in English.
o Ensure compliance with company policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements.
o Maintain version control to track document revisions and updates accurately.
2. Document Distribution:
o Distribute controlled documents to relevant departments and ensure accessibility to authorized personnel.
o Monitor document usage to prevent unauthorized modifications.
3. Compliance Support:
o Assist in preparing for internal and external audits by ensuring documentation meets international quality and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
o Support corrective action processes by updating and maintaining accurate documentation.
4. Data Entry and Maintenance:
o Input, update, and manage data in document control systems or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
o Archive and maintain inactive documents in accordance with document retention policies.
5. Process Improvement:
o Identify opportunities to improve document control processes and implement best practices.
o Train employees on document control procedures and effective use of systems.
6. Collaboration:
o Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure documentation reflects current manufacturing processes.
o Provide support to team members to ensure adherence to document control requirements.
