Technical Program Manager, Front-End Experiences
Overview
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and passionate Technical Program Manager, Front-End Experiences to elevate our digital customer experience. This role will drive initiatives across multiple domains—including marketing, financial products, and digital services—by delivering high-performance, scalable, and personalized front-end experiences powered by a headless CMS architecture.
The ideal candidate excels in fast-paced environments, is both process- and data-driven, and has a strong track record of leading cross-functional programs. This individual will play a key role in aligning technical and business teams to deliver seamless, secure, and engaging client-facing digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership for Web Experience Delivery
Lead end-to-end delivery of front-end experience initiatives across CMS, design systems, and Next.js applications
Translate business and content requirements into technical programs with clear milestones and measurable outcomes
Coordinate across engineering, design, content strategy, SEO, and marketing teams
Manage dependencies across CMS schema changes, APIs, front-end components, and deployment workflows
Identify and mitigate risks related to content migrations, API changes, caching strategies, and releases
Technical Partnership (Next.js + Headless CMS)
Participate in architectural decisions, including SSR, SSG, ISR, routing, caching, and performance optimization
Understand CMS content models, API patterns (REST, GROQ, GraphQL), and integration best practices
Partner with engineering leadership to align solutions with long-term platform strategy
Use analytics, Core Web Vitals, A/B testing, and telemetry to guide prioritization and measure success
Advocate for best practices in accessibility, SEO, and performance
Communication & Stakeholder Alignment
Produce clear program artifacts (briefs, status updates, migration plans, decision logs)
Translate requirements into structured delivery plans, epics, and Jira tickets
Simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Align cross-functional teams on timelines, expectations, and quality standards
Facilitate decision-making across content workflows, release processes, and dependencies
Operational Excellence for Web Platforms
Lead postmortems for production issues and drive corrective actions
Improve workflows for content publishing, preview environments, QA, and releases
Champion performance, reliability, and accessibility standards
Promote consistency in design systems, component libraries, and CMS governance
Required Qualifications
Proven experience leading technical programs for web applications or digital platforms
Strong understanding of modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Next.js, React)
Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Sanity, Strapi) and content modeling
Knowledge of rendering strategies, APIs, caching, and performance optimization
Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams (engineering, design, content)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts
Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving environments
Preferred Qualifications
Background in software engineering, front-end development, or web architecture
Experience with GROQ, GraphQL, REST APIs, CDN caching, and edge rendering
Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and accessibility standards
Experience supporting SEO-driven or high-traffic web platforms
Track record of improving CMS workflows and governance
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
8–10 years of Technical Program Management experience
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Compensation & Benefits
Pay rate range: $50.00/hr - $65.00/hr.
