<h1><strong>Structures Mechanic – Test Operations (Aerospace / Propulsion)</strong></h1><h2><strong>Position Overview</strong></h2><p>We are seeking a highly skilled <strong>Structures Mechanic</strong> to support advanced aerospace test operations, including <strong>flight hardware, propulsion systems, and development engines</strong>. This role is hands-on and mission-critical, involving the <strong>assembly, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of structural and electromechanical systems</strong> in a fast-paced testing environment.<p>You will work alongside engineers and technicians to ensure <strong>safe, efficient, and reliable execution of test operations</strong>, while contributing to process improvements and hardware readiness for flight.</p><hr /><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Prepare and configure <strong>test articles, test stands, and support systems</strong> for engine and hardware testing</li><li>Perform <strong>structural repairs, assembly, and fabrication</strong> of aerospace hardware and support equipment</li><li>Execute <strong>post-test inspections and evaluations</strong> to ensure flight readiness and compliance</li><li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair <strong>electromechanical systems, instrumentation, and test equipment</strong></li><li><strong>Support testing of flight and development engines</strong>, including setup, operation, and teardown</li><li>Maintain and repair <strong>high-pressure systems, cryogenic equipment, pneumatic systems, and associated components</strong></li><li><strong>Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation</strong></li><li><strong>Collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop, document, and optimize test processes</strong></li><li><strong>Perform calibration, validation, and data collection</strong> to support testing and quality standards</li><li>Ensure all materials, components, and assemblies meet <strong>cleanliness and inspection requirements (ISO or aerospace standards)</strong></li><li><strong>Process work orders, maintenance requests, and inventory tracking</strong></li><li><strong>Participate in rigging and crane operations</strong> (bridge cranes, mobile lifts) for hardware movement</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to <strong>increase test efficiency, reliability, and safety</strong></li></ul><hr /><h2><strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong></h2><h3><strong>Core Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li>Proven experience in <strong>airframe structural repair and aerospace assembly</strong></li><li><strong>Hands-on experience with aviation electronics and avionics systems</strong></li><li><strong>Strong </strong><strong style="color:rgb(8,7,7);">background</strong><strong> in test operations, testing procedures, and process optimization</strong></li><li><strong>Experience with flight or development engines</strong> preferred</li><li>Solid mechanical aptitude with ability to <strong>assemble, troubleshoot, and repair complex systems</strong></li><li><strong>Proficiency using:</strong><ul><li><strong>Hand and power tools</strong></li><li>Torque tools</li><li>Multimeters and oscilloscopes</li></ul></li></ul><h3><strong>Technical Competencies</strong></h3><ul><li>Electromechanical troubleshooting and repair</li><li>Electrical systems (circuits, wiring,
