Title: Sr Technical Writer
Location: Remote OR CA
What You Will Do::
• Author new and update existing policy and procedure documents in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Organize the storage and retrieval of documents to ensure they are easily accessible.
• Establish an ongoing document review and update cadence including simple work flows for internal sign-off and update tracking
• Work with Core Technology leadership to ensure the policies, procedure and processes have an internal owner that is accountable for ongoing management.
What You Will Bring::
• 3+ years experience writing policy and procedures in areas such as business continuity, disaster recovery, security, and IT security frameworks/standards is required, with a strong preference for candidates who've done so within the finance industry.
• Experience writing policy & procedures to satisfy Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC)[1] Information Technology Examination Handbook (IT Handbook).
• Demonstrated ability to work with subject matter experts to produce clear and concise documentation appropriate for the intended audience.
• Strong understanding of document collaboration systems like Confluence, Google Docs and Office 365.
