ob Description - Social Media/Marketing Manager Job highlights Qualifications Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Film/Media Production, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field (preferred, but not required) Strong creative instincts with the ability to generate fresh, original content ideas independently Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools Deep familiarity with social media platforms - how they work, what performs, and how algorithms differ Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Must be a self-starter who follows through - someone who takes ownership without waiting to be asked twice Familiarity with AI-powered tools for content creation, copywriting, image generation, or marketing automation (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Adobe Firefly, or similar) Ability to leverage AI tools to increase content output, streamline workflows, and stay ahead of rapidly evolving digital marketing trends Responsibilities This role goes beyond video - you will own the full content lifecycle across all of our social media platforms and support visual marketing needs across our family of brands If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love telling stories through content, and aren't afraid to think outside the box, this role is for you Additional platforms as brands grow and evolve Content Creation & Social Media Management Study competition marketing Plan, create, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms on a consistent schedule Develop and execute platform-specific content strategies tailored to each audience (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, etc.) Design eye-catching graphics, promotional materials, and digital assets using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva, or other applicable program(s) Write compelling copy for posts, captions, ads, and campaigns that reflect each brand's voice Build and manage a content calendar to ensure timely, relevant, and strategic posting Brainstorm and pitch creative content ideas that go beyond the obvious - think outside the box Video Production & Photography *** Film and edit short-form and long-form video content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms *** Handle video production pipeline (supported with US team): concept, storyboarding, filming, editing, and post-production Optimize video content for each platform's format, aspect ratio, and algorithm Regularly update and maintain blog content across all Miedema Companies websites to keep information current, credible, and relevant Write and publish original blog posts that support brand authority, SEO, and audience engagement Collaborate with internal teams to source topics and industry insights worth featuring Ensure blog content aligns with active campaigns, upcoming auctions, and the overall content calendar Strategy & Analytics Develop and present social media strategies for campaigns and seasonal promotions Monitor analytics and performance metrics across all platforms; provide regular reporting and data-driven recommendations Research industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms to identify new opportunities Assist with SEO optimization for video and digital content to increase visibility and reach Cross-Team Collaboration & Follow-Through Proactively follow up on projects and deliverables without needing to be reminded - a self-starter mindset is essential Coordinate with external vendors, clients, and team members to meet deadlines consistently Hours/Days: Monday-Friday 2 hours/Day Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
